The Vranov region is renowned as a top destination for summer holidays in South Moravia. If you are considering a trip to Czech Republic, you should not hesitate.

Here, you can find famous attractions such as the fairy tale castle Vranov, or romantic castle Bítov. Especially popular are the beaches surrounding the Vranov dam, where visitors heading for sun and water, gather each year. Vranov region is also a domain of the Podyjí National park, waiting for you to be discovered. In addition, you can enjoy a unique sightseeing cruise along the river Thaya, or ride a bicycle along some of the trails. Add to that the reputable wines from South Moravia and your vacation will be perfect.

The town Vranov nad Dyjí is the heart of the region. It is located approximately 20 km from the historic town of Znojmo, also a renowned centre of south-Moravian viticulture. Importantly, you can get to Znojmo from Vienna directly via train. Also, there is a direct line from Znojmo to Vranov, and you can easily get here from Brno – the largest Moravian metropolis as well.

Of course, we are ready to meet all of your needs. You can enjoy a menu of gourmet delicacies including well-known fish specialties. Wine is naturally from local sources too. Be sure to try the unique „wine with a lizard“, trademark of the local Znovín company produced from grapes grown in the heart of the national park.

Accommodation can be found without difficulty according to your requirements. If you want to stay close to the water, try guesthouses in our camps, maybe arrive with a caravan or pitch your tent in one of the camps. If you prefer a family pension with the appropriate service, you can try it within Vranov or in other villages around the lake. For the more demanding, hotels with the respective standard are available.
